Uruguay winning the FIFA World Cup First Stage Group A game on Monday 25 June 2018 at the Samara Arena in Samara, Russia.  It’s a great victory because Uruguay ended as Group A leader winning all 3 games!    A historic match for Uruguay goalkeeper Fernando Muslera being the most-capped player at the World Cup with 14 appearances!   Congrats also for Luis Suárez and Edinson Cavani both have scored at the 2010, 2014, and 2018 World Cup tournaments.  Uruguay and Russia advanced to the knock-out stages.

Party is on for Uruguay!!! The ex-Napoli player Edinson Cavani scoring a gaol in the 89th minute for the 3-0. Cavani defeating Russia goalkeeper from close range with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner following a corner conceded by Igor Akinfeev.   Cavani scored his 43rd goal with Uruguay team.
