Good morning, my friends!   Wow, wow, wow, what a Monday morning after the Serie A games!   I am thrilled, astonishing with some of the results.  Sure, headlines reflect what happened.  I love the headline praising AS Roma forward Edin Dzeko “Dzekolossal” for his superb goal against Torino.   The big headline for Corriere dello Sport is about Inter disappointment losing the game against Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium.

Good morning, my friends!   Finally, the 2018-2019 Serie A started!   Headlines reaffirming the victories of the two away games.  Juventus defeating in extremis Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium with a 2-3.  Napoli defeating Lazio at the Olimpico Stadium with a 1-2.    Although Cristiano Ronaldo  did not score, we might say it was a positive debut with his will and group commitment pushing for the victory.

The Lega Serie A has announced the postponement of the Serie A Week 1 games  AC Milan vs Genoa and Sampdoria vs Fiorentina scheduled on Sunday 19 August 2018 at 20:30.

The games were postponed as a result of the tragedy that hit the City of Genoa.  The recovery dates will be announced in the next few days.

The Lega Serie A also informing that a minute of silence will be observed before the games in all of the Serie A TIM Week 1 games in memory of the victims of Genoa on Saturday 18, Sunday 19, and Monday 20 August 2018.  The  teams will wear a mourning band on the arm.
