Azerbaijan equalizing in the 30th minute with Dimitrij Nazarov defeating Italy goalkeeper Gigi Buffon with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner.
Italy taking the lead again in the 43rd minute with forward Stephan El Shaarawy delivering a right footed shot after getting the assist by Antonio Candreva.
Party time for Italy in the 65th minute!!! It is defender Matteo Darmian to defeat goalkeeper Agayev with a right footed shot from about 25 yards in the lower left corner. It’s a historical goal for Darmian because it is his first international goal.

Italy head coach Antonio Conte has called up 27players for the European 2016 qualifier games Azerbaijan vs Italy on October 10 at Baku and Italy vs Norway on October 13, 2015 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Among the news is the first called up of Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi. AC Milan midfielder Riccardo Montolivo returning to the national team after his injury in May 2014 during the friendly game against the Republic of Ireland in London.
As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the Italian team will meet up on Monday 5 October at the Technical Center of Coverciano for double training session. The morning training will be closed door. The afternoon training session will be open to the press during the first 20 minutes. The team will depart to Azerbaijan on Thursday 8 October.

Standing showing Italy and Croatia with 15 points each, though, Croatia points total pending disciplinary proceedings. Highlight of the match seeing Italy goalkeeper and Captain Gigi Buffon making his 150th appearance with the Azzurri. Surely, Italy having a good luck playing in Palermo seeing 8 victories from 9 competitive games.
Italia claiming the victory thanks to the goal by midfielder Daniele De Rossi. Referee Sergei Karasev gives a penalty to Italy conceded by defender Veselin Minev after a foul on midfielder Antonio Candreva . It is De Rossi to convert the penalty defeating Bulgaria goalkeeper Mitrev with a right footed shot in the lower right corner.
Things get complicated in the 55th minute. Referee Karasev gives a red card to Daniele De Rossi after reacting badly following the foul , a bad tackle by Ilijan Micanski.
