Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Inter, 7th position with 6  points and a positive goal difference of +2
Cremonese, 19th position with 0 points and a negative goal difference of -3

Inter win the Serie A Week 4 game defeating Cremonese on Tuesday 30 August 2022 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy. Inter reaching 10 points climbing to the 2nd position. Cremonese still without winning a game remaining with 0 points. Surely, this is a boost for the morale of the team for Inter after losing last week against Lazio. At the end of the match the honor goal for Cremonese by David Okereke in the 90th minute.

In the next round, Inter will face AC Milan and Cremonese will play the home game against Sassuolo

Inter opened the score in the 12th minute with the goal by Joaquín Correa defeating Cremonese goalkeeper Ionut Radu from very close range with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner.

Monza not finding their way out and Inter increased the score 2-0. In the 38th minute, Nicolò Barella scored with a right footed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Hakan Çalhanoglu.

Cremonese scoring the honor goal in the 90th minute. David Okereke defeated Inter goalkeeper Samir Handanovic with a right footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Gonzalo Escalante.

Stats before the game: Inter have won 11 of the 14 Serie A matches against Cremonese (2D, 1L). Cremonese won only one of the 14 games played at Giuseppe Meazza in Serie A (vs Inter and Milan), right at Inter on 10 May 1992 with Gustavo Giagnoni on the bench (double from Gustavo Dezotti). Inter have lost only one of the 22 games played on Tuesday in Serie A (1-3 v Novara on 20 September 2011 – also on matchday four at the time) – 15 wins complete the balance sheet for the Nerazzurri (including all the last six ) and six draws. Inter have won all of their last eight Serie A matches against newly promoted formations and only once in their history in the competition have they recorded a longer winning streak against opponents from Serie B (10 in a row between April 2002 and September 2003). Cremonese will return to play a Lombard Derby in Serie A for the first time since May 12, 1996 (lost 1-7 to Milan) – against teams from their own region, the newly promoted team recorded 63% of defeats in the top flight (29 out of 46 – 6W, 11D).
