🏆👉 Ghana won the direct clash and got closer to the round of 16 after defeating South Korea in the FIFA World Cup Group H on Monday 28 November 2022 at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan, Qatar. Winning this challenge would give a big advantage in view of the third and final day for the qualification. At the moment South Korea has 1 point (0-0 vs Uruguay) while Ghana lost in their debut against Portugal. This is Ghana’s first game claiming all 3 points. After Ghana’s double lead in the first half through Mohammed Salisu and Kudus, South Korea returned in the second half and leveled it within 168 seconds with Cho Gue-Sung’s brace.
Bottom line, Ghana never stopped believing and won thanks to their stars, Mohammed Kudus above all scoring 2 goals. It will take a miracle for the Asians to get through the group.

South Korea have scored exactly two goals in each of their three World Cup ties against African nations, beating Togo 2-1 in 2006, drawing 2-2 with Nigeria in 2010 and losing 4-2 to Algeria in the 2014. After a 2-0 win against Germany in 2018 and a 0-0 draw against Uruguay in this year’s first round, South Korea kept two consecutive clean sheets for the first time in the World Cup.
