France defeating Iceland.   EURO 2016, Quarterfinal, I am so happy to see 5 Italian Serie A players in FRANCE vs ICELAND official lineups on Sunday 3 July 2016 for the UEFA Euro 2016 at the Stade de France in Saint Denis, France at 21:00.   France  will play the EURO 2016 Semifinal against Germany on Thursday 7 July.

It’s France to open the score in the 12th minute.  Olivier Giroud defeating Iceland goalkeeper Halldórsson with a left footed shot in the center.  The assist is by Blaise Matuidi.

 

Serie A in action!  There it is Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba scoring for France!   Pogba with a headed shot following a corner conceded by Kári Arnason.   It’s a perfect assist from Antoine Griezmann finding Pogba ready for the headed shot in the top left corner.  Way to go Pogba!!!!

France rocking big time at the Stade de France!    This time is forward Dimitri Payet to score with a left footed shot in  the bottom right corner.   The assist is by forward Antoine Griezmann.

 

Say no more…..  France crushing Iceland…. it seems the fairy tale is over.     Adding a cherry on top of the ice cream before ending the first half…. a goal by Griezmann!!!!
