Hello, my friends. Here are the 2019-2020 Serie A Week 9 RESULTS / Ninth Round on Friday 25, Saturday 26, and Sunday 27 October 2019.

➡️ Up to Serie A Week 9: There is a three-way race between Juventus (23), Inter (22), and Atalanta (20)

⚽️ Serie A Top Scorer up to Week 9:
Lazio forward Ciro Immobile with 10 goals

Serie A tickets

The status quo in the leadership remains the same.  The two leaders of the Serie A ended their respective games with a draw.  Juventus keeping the first position after the 1-1 draw against Lecce at the Allianz Stadium.  It’s a step back for Juventus failing to win the away game. It is the second draw for Juventus while for Lecce is the sixth draw.

Inter wasted the chance to overtake the first position because they also failed to win the home game at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium ending with a 2-2 draw against a superb Parma.

Atalanta shining big time delighting their fans with the mega goleada against Udinese.   Atalanta profit the draws of the two leaders Juventus and Inter ending their respective games with a draw.  Atalanta reaching 20 points being only -3 points below Juventus with 23 and -2 points below Inter with 22 points.

Hellas Verona losing the home game at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium against Sassuolo with a 0-1.  Sassuolo winning their third game this season while Hellas Verona winning only 2 , 3 draws, and now losing 4. The victory is a boost for Sassuolo avoiding to fall in the relegation zone.

Genoa coach Thiago Motta making his debut with a victory after being down by a goal to claim all three points. Three goals coming from the bench, it is a record for a Serie A coach. Way to go for Motta. Genoa 3-1 Brescia.  Genoa leaving the relegation zone climbing from the 19th to the 17th position.

Napoli with a sprint race towards the top 3 positions to keep up the race for the Scudetto will have to console gaining only 1 point failing to win the game.  SPAL battling for salvation remain in the relegation zone with 7 points.  However, this draw for the local fans was more like a victory considering the big opponent.  It is the first draw for SPAL this season and the second for Napoli.

AS Roma gaining momentum and winning the home game at the Olimpico Stadium.  Roma defeating AC Milan with a 2-1.  It’s chaos for Milan because they are losing their main objective which is to return to the Champions League next season.  AC Milan just not finding the way to the winning path, out of 9 games Milan winning only 3, 1 draw, and losing  5.  OUCH!

Lazio conquered the Artemio Franchi Stadium!  It is an important away victory because Lazio reached 15 points climbing from the 8th to the 6th position.  Fiorentina remain in the 9th position with 12 points.  The winner goal was scored by the Serie A top scorer forward Ciro Immobile in the 89th minute.
