✅ Covid 19 update: Serie A Week 20 Bologna vs Inter, reportedly, won’t be played on Thursday 6 January 2022 at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in Bologna, Italy at 12:30. Following the provisions of the AUSL which establish the quarantine of at least 5 days for the entire team group, Bologna announces that the gates of the Dall’Ara stadium will be closed to the public on Thursday. The Dall’Ara gates will remain closed, fans who have purchased tickets will be able to request a refund in the next few days.
Bologna, following AUSL quarantine, will not be on the field tomorrow at the Dall’Ara. Yet, Inter will be on the pitch together with the referees, given the decision of Lega A not to postpone the match (at least for the moment).
Bologna FC 1909 confirm that players Gary Medel, Federico Santander, Sydney Van Hooijdonk and Emanuel Vignato have tested positive for COVID-19. As per the protocol, local health authorities were promptly notified and the players were placed into self-isolation at home.
