What a blow for AC Milan failing to win this home game at the San Siro Stadium. It’s a major step back because the “coveted 3rd place” seeming now an impossible dream. Atalanta are celebrating this important away victory because keep them away from the relegation zone and winning their 4th game this season.
Special match for AC Milan coach Filippo Inzaghi a former Atalanta player from 1996 to 1997 making 34 appearances while scoring 25 goals. Also a special match for AC Milan Captain Riccardo Montolivo celebrating today his 30th birthday!
Bad start for AC Milan conceding a goal. It is Atalanta to open the score in the 33rd minute with forward German Denis defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez with a right footed shot in the center. The assist is by Maximiliano Moralez. This is the 4th goal this season for Denis.
Match ending with fans whistling and booing Milan for this bad defeat and poor game.
