AS Roma failing big time to win this home game against Atalanta to get back to the 2nd position.   Roma lost the 2nd position last week when they got the 1-1 draw against Torino. This week, hello, again another draw.  Simply put, Roma wasted the chance to claim back the 2nd position despite reaching 58 points just like Lazio.   Juventus defeated Lazio on Saturday remaining with 58 points, but goal difference are in favor of Lazio with +28 and Roma with +19.   Roma fans at the end booing the team to express their disappointment.

A moment of hope.  Referee Gervasoni giving a penalty to Roma in the 3rd minute conceded by Atalanta defender Guglielmo Stendardo after a handball in the penalty area.   It is Roma captain Francesco Totti to convert the penalty defeating Atalanta goalkeeper with a right footed in the bottom left corner.

The situation for Roma complicates in the 23rd minute.   Atalanta getting a penalty conceded by Roma defender Davide Astori after a foul on Atalanta midfielder Urby Emanuelson.  It is forward German Denis to equalize the score converting the penalty defeating Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.
