On Sunday, January 5, 2025, Roma secured a victory over Lazio during Serie A Week 19 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. This win marked a significant turnaround for Roma, who had been struggling with three matches without a win or a goal (1 draw, 2 losses) prior to this match.
In addition, the Giallorossi have impressively kept a clean sheet in their last two encounters with the Biancocelesti in this league. This achievement also marks the first time since 1967 that they have recorded three consecutive clean sheets against Lazio.

What a whirlwind for Lazio! The Roman gladiators struck again in the 18th minute with a goal from Alexis Saelemakers! It was an incredible play by Roma, featuring Dovbyk and Dybala near the box. Dybala set up Saelemakers, who charged in and took a shot with his right foot. Provedel made the initial save, but the Belgian was quick to pounce on the rebound and found the back of the net, extending their lead. Ouch! Roma fans are definitely celebrating!
