Juan Guillermo Cuadrado’s Colombia beat Ivory Coast 2-1 to move top of Group C this afternoon, with the Viola player performing a key role again. He helped steer his side towards victory when his 60th-minute corner allowed James Rodriguez to nod home the opening goal. Juan Quintero then made it 2-0 before a solo effort from Gervinho reduced the arrears.
Cuadrado’s assist was his third in two games for Colombia at this World Cup – no one has done better so far. He joins Carlos Valderrama as the Colombian who has set up the most goals at a single World Cup tournament (since 1990).
The Fiorentina forward also created four goalscoring chances – more than anyone else on the pitch in today’s match.

ACF Fiorentina can confirm that the co-ownership arrangement in place with Udinese Calcio regarding Juan Guillermo Cuadrado Bello has been resolved in Fiorentina's favour.
The 25-year-old Colombian winger has so far spent two seasons in Florence, playing 79 games, scoring 20 goals and making 18 assists in Serie A, Coppa Italia and Europa League.
Cuadrado spoke exclusively to Violachannel from Brazil, where he is currently involved in the World Cup with his national side: “Right now I'm focused on the World Cup and I hope to go as far as possible with Colombia but I'm very happy and proud that Fiorentina have signed me outright.”

Ante Rebic collected his seventh cap for Croatia when he made a second-half appearance as a substitute in Croatia’s 4-0 victory over Cameroon in Group A last night.
Despite only playing the last 12 minutes in what was his second game at this summer’s World Cup, the 20-year-old Fiorentina striker managed to take one shot on goal himself and set up a team-mate for another. He touched the ball nine times and completed six passes (all in the opponents’ half).
