Mission accomplished, Napoli win the Serie A Week 10 game against Bologna at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.  Napoli join AC Milan at the top of the table with 28 points.   Napoli take the 1st position having a better goal difference with +19 compared to Milan with +14.  This victory sees Napoli winning all five matches played at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, conceding just one goal

AC Milan reaching 28 points after winning the Serie A Week 10 game against Torino at San Siro Stadium.  Milan having now a +17 lead over Torino.  Milan have won now their last six league games: only once in Stefano Pioli management have the Rossoneri collected six consecutive Serie A successes, between July and October 2020.  AC Milan winning their last five Serie A home games: Stefano Pioli become the first Rossoneri manager to achieve five consecutive home wins in the competition from Clarence Seedorf in 2014.

Mission accomplished with Inter on their quest to defend their tile.  Inter win the Serie A Week 10 game against Empoli at the Carlo Castellani Stadium.   Inter reaching 21 points being -7 points below AC Milan with 28 in the first position.  Empoli have lost all of their last seven Serie A games against Inter; in their history in the competition, only once Empoli achieved more consecutive defeats against a single opponent: eight against Juventus between 2014 and 2019.

Cagliari are just begging for points being in the last position losing the Serie A Week 10 game against AS Roma at the Unipol Domus .  Roma returned to victory after the defeats against Juventus and Bodo Glimt and the draw with Napoli.    Roma reaching 19 points being only -2 points below Inter in the 3rd position with 21 points.

Sampdoria losing the Serie A Week 10 game against Atalanta getting closer to the relegation zone at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium.  Atalanta continue to be unbeaten in four away games against Sampdoria in Serie A (3W, 1D) .  Sampdoria remain with 9 points in the 15th position only +2 points against Genoa in the 18th position with 7 points. Atalanta Coach Gian Piero Gasperini celebrating his 200th game with Atalanta in Serie A with this victory (108 wins, 375 points, 402 goals scored).  Gasperini is the first coach in the era of three points to win to cross  200 benches in Serie A with two different clubs (after 232 with Genoa).  Way to go Mister! 🖤💙🖤💙

Salernitana dreaming with salvation winning the Serie A Week 10 game against Venezia at the Penzo Stadium.  Venezia remain with 8 points having +1point lead over Salernitana reaching 7 points.   Salernitana causing an upset claiming this much needed away victory to climb the Serie A Standing.  Previously, Salernitana has won all the last three league matches against Venezia, all in Serie B – between the top flight and cadeteria she has never achieved success for four consecutive games against Venezia.

Lazio needed to win the Serie A Week 10 against Fiorentina at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.   Lazio reaching 17 points  climbing from the 8th to the 6th position.  Fiorentina with 15 points stepping down from the 7th to the 8th position.   Coach Maurizio Sarri playing his 200th game in Serie A: the Lazio coach has won 117 games so far in the top flight, fewer than Antonio Conte (136) after the same number of games played in the era of three points to win.

Juventus succumbing to the pressure losing the Serie A Week 10 game against Sassuolo at the Allianz Stadium.   Juventus not only lost the game but also the 6th position stepping down to the 7th.  Sassuolo silencing the Allianz Stadium causing an upset by grabbing the away victory in the 95th minute with the goal by Maxime Lopez.  A sour celebration for Juventus Coach Massimiliano Allegri becoming the third coach to cross the finish line of the 200 Serie A benches with Juventus, after Giovanni Trapattoni (402) and Marcello Lippi (258).
