On paper, Napoli, sitting in 1st place with 6 points, are favored to win. Fiorentina, with only 2 points, are currently in 12th place. However, nothing is guaranteed.

Fiorentina has managed to win just two of their last 10 league encounters with Napoli, drawing two and losing six. The two victories for Fiorentina occurred on April 10, 2022 (3-2) and October 8, 2023 (3-1).
