Hello my friends.  I hope you enjoyed the games and your favorite teams are doing well.  Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 2 RESULTS / Second Round on Saturday 25, Sunday 26, and Monday 27 August 2018.

Definitely, it is a super round for 3 teams winning their two games to have full 6 points:  Juventus, Napoli, and Spal.   The big moment is for Juventus’ Italy Champions defending their title, although the fans are still expecting to celebrate a goal by Cristiano Ronaldo.  Ok, I admit it, I am also desperately to celebrate and shout  SIIIIIUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!

Serie A tickets

Napoli rocking big time.  Surely, Carlo Ancelotti is the “King of Napoli.”   Ancelotti who is an ex-AC Milan player and also ex-AC Milan Coach, showed a tough lesson to his former player Gennaro Gattuso now coaching AC Milan.  Napoli were losing the game with a 0 – 2 at the San Paolo Stadium and overturned the result to claim the victory with a 3-2.

AC Milan failing to win their first victory this season.  Last week, the match AC Milan vs Genoa  was postponed in memory of the Genoa tragedy.   A total turnaround with Napoli not giving up despite being down with a 0-2 to overturn the result for the 3-2.  It’s without a doubt a big flop for Milan and a big plus for Napoli.

Argentinean Gonzalo Higuain ex-Napoli and ex-Juventus player returned to the San Paolo Stadium, yet, unable to score or make a difference.  Napoli already with a victory after defeating last week Lazio at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium claim another 3 points.

Surely, the ex-AC Milan Coach Carlo Ancelotti now coaching Napoli showing a lesson to  his ex-player Gennaro Gattuso now coaching AC Milan.

It is AC Milan to open the score silencing the San Paolo Stadium in the 15th minute.  Midfielder Giacomo Bonaventura defeating Napoli goalkeeper Ospina with a right footed shot in the center.   The headed assist is by Fabio Borini.

AC Milan increasing the score for the 2-0 in the 49th minute. Davide Calabria with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.

Napoli shortening the distance in the 53rd minute. It is Piotr Zielinski to defeat AC Milan goalkeeper Donnarumma with a left footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Jose Callejon.

Napoli motivated  level the score for the 2-2 in the 67th minute.  The hero for Napoli is again Piotr Zielinski  with a second goal!!!   The San Paolo stadium raising the support for Napoli.   Zielinski defeating goalkeeper Donnarumma with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner following a corner conceded by AC Milan Fabio Borini.

Oh well, tough lesson for Milan!   Napoli overturning the result and there it is BAMMMMMM   In the 80th minute, forward Dries Mertens delivering a right footed shot all the way to the bottom right corner.  The assist is by Allan. What a blow for Milan and you bet Napoli fans in total extasis.

Stats before the game are in favor of Napoli considering the games played at Napoli’s home.  In the last 7 home games against AC Milan, Napoli not losing.
Stats.  In the last 17 home games stats showing Napoli wiht 8 wins, 6 draws, and AC Milan with 3 wins.  The goal difference is 27-16 in favor of Napoli.

Here is NAPOLI  official starting lineup – formation by Coach Carlo Ancelotti:
