Udinese 1 – 0 AC Milan
72′ Rodrigo Becão
The battle between UDINESE vs AC MILAN for the Serie A Week 1 game on Sunday 25 August 2019 at the Friuli Stadium in Udine, Italy is won by Udinese.
What a perfect way for Udinese to start the 2019 – 2020 Season with a home victory to delight their fans. Bad news is for AC Milan new Coach Marco Giampaolo failing to grab a victory. Udinese tested their strength against this “not powerful Milan.” It’s just sad to see the once glorious AC Milan struggling and starting the season with a defeat.
AC Milan still dreaming with their return to the UEFA Champions League. Imagine, AC Milan have been out of the Champions since the 2013-2014 Season! AC Milan were banned from the Europa League for one year after breaking financial fair play rules.
It is Udinese to open the score in the 72nd minute. Rodrigo Becão defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with a headed hsot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Rodrigo de Paul with a cross following a corner conceded by Alessio Romagnoli.
