MILAN – This is what Alessandro Mastalli had to say to the Milan Channel after the win against Ascoli at the Viareggio Tournament:

“I see a good team. To play this third edition is fantastic, it is an imporant tournament. I’m very happy. Today we gained an important result, we expected it. The atmosphere is the good one. I’m working a lot to improve. I need to recover my best fitness. I’m improving game after game. I needed to be more self-confident. I know the team-mates quite well and I’ve found much more feeling with the ball. This year the Viareggio tournament is a good opportunity for those who play less. The captain’s band is something special for me, especially when you play in this competition. It is a fantastic sensation.”

MILAN – This is what Giovanni Crociata had to say to the Milan Channel after the win against Ascoli at the Viareggio Tournament:

“It was a great goal, it came out well. The credit is of course mine (he laughs), even though the goalkeeper helped me.
Today there was space also for those who play less and they were ready to enter the fray. An applause to everybody.
Now I feel godd, I know I can play different roles in the middle of the pitch and this is helpful.
We have to face some important absences but we aim to reach the final and win the Cup.”
