Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Livorno, 18th position with 24 points and a negative goal difference of -24
Inter, 5th position with 48 points and a positive goal difference of +16
Hello my friends. Here is the Serie A PREVIEW for
the
Serie A Week 31, 2013 – 2014 Season on Saturday 29, Sunday 30, and Monday 31 March
2014, matchday 31. Countdown my friends! 7 more games after this Round and the 2013 – 2014 Serie A will end!
It’s almost a fact that Juventus will win their third consecutive Scudetto considering the +11 points over the AS Roma holding the second position with 61 points. Juventus will play in the Europa
League against Lyon next week. Juventus are absolute leaders with a solo flight this season towards the Scudetto. Motivation high for Juventus also seeing forward Carlos Tevez taking back the “Top scorer”
position with 18 goals followed by Torino forward Ciro Immobile with 17
goals.
We still have an open battle for the 2nd position. Roma having 67 points and a pending game to recover is followed closely by Napoli having 61 points. This is a crucial week for Napoli because they are playing against Juventus at the San Paolo Stadium. A victory will boost the morale of the team to pursue the 2nd position. A defeat for Napoli will be a major blow in case also of Fiorentina defeating Sampdoria because that will put Fiorentina with 54 points being only 7 points of Napoli.
The battle for the 4th position is also open. Yep. Fiorentian with 51 points is challenged by Inter having 48 points. In case of Sampdoria defeating Fiorentina and Inter defeating Livorno, Inter will take back the 4th position. A problem here is for Inter not to lose the game because Parma are following closely with 47 points.
The battle in these last weeks will be mostly for “salvation.” The teams with less than 30 points risking relegation are Chievo (27), Bologna (26), Livorno (24), Sassuolo (21), and Catania (20).
Here is the situation. Juventus in the 1st position with 81 points and a
positive goal difference of +47. AS Roma in the 2nd position with 67
points and a positive goal difference of +41. Napoli in the 3rd
position with 61 points and a positive goal difference of +25.
The Europa League zone. Fiorentina
in the 4th position with 51 points and a positive goal difference of
+16. Inter in the 5th position with 48 points and a positive goal
difference of 16. Parma in the 6th position with 47 points and a
positive goal difference of +13.
Relegation Zone: Livorno in the 18th position with 24
points and a negative goal difference of -24. Sassuolo in the 19th
position with 21 points and a negative goal difference of -30. Catania
in the 20th position with 20 points and a negative goal difference of
-31.
Up to Round 30, Week 30 most scored goals in favor: Juventus scoring 67 goals
Up to Round 30, Week 30 most scored against: Sassuolo conceding 59 goals
Up to Round 30, Week 30 best defense: AS Roma conceding only 15 goals

Hello my friends. Here is the Serie A ROUNDUP for
the
Serie A Week 30, 2013 – 2014 Season on Tuesday 25, Wednesday 26, and Thursday 27 March
2014, matchday 30.
AS Roma battling and defeating Torino at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. A sour defeat for Torino considering they have the top scorer of the Serie A forward Ciro Immobile reaching 17 goals after his honor goal against Roma. Roma are not willing to give up the 2nd position being followed closely by Napoli. Roma with 67 points and Napoli with 58 points.
Surely, the leadership is for Juventus “almost the invincible.” Juventus have a wide gap of +11 points. Roma still having a pending game with Parma to be recovered. Surely, their objective this
week is to claim another victory. Juventus will play in the Europa League against Lyon next week. For the moment, Juventus defeating Parma with 2 goals by forward Carlos Tevez taking back the “Top scorer” position with 18 goals followed by Torino forward Ciro Immobile with 17 goals. Parma remaining with 10 players after Referee Banti sent off forward Amauri in the 65th minute after committing the foul on defender Giorgio Chiellini.
Sampdoria sinking Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium with the goal in the 1st minute by forward Gianluca Sansone. Yet, Sassuolo not giving up and equalize in the 16th minute with defender Alessandro Longhi.
A poker at the Angelo Massimino Stadium! Four slaps to Catania seeing “RED” all over towards relegation. Napoli scoring 4 goals in the first half with a brace by Duvan Zapata, Jose Maria Callejon and Henrique. Catania scoring the “honor goal” in the 52nd minute with midfielder Luciano Monzon.
A revival for AC Milan! Milan defeating Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium to get back on track and for the moment saving the job of coach Clarence Seedorf. It is Milan defender Philippe Mexes to open the score in the 22nd minute. The boost to the morale of the team and a blow for Fiorentina arriving in the 64th minute with the goal by forward Mario Balotelli.
Here is the situation. Juventus in the 1st position with 81 points and a positive goal difference of +47. AS Roma in the 2nd position with 67
points and a positive goal difference of +41. Napoli in the 3rd
position with 61 points and a positive goal difference of +25.
The Europa League zone. Fiorentina in the 4th position with 51 points and a positive goal difference of +16. Inter in the 5th position with 48 points and a positive goal difference of 16. Parma in the 6th position with 47 points and a positive goal difference of +13.
Relegation Zone: Livorno in the 18th position with 24 points and a negative goal difference of -24. Sassuolo in the 19th position with 21 points and a negative goal difference of -30. Catania in the 20th position with 20 points and a negative goal difference of -31.
Up to Round 30, Week 30 most scored goals in favor: Juventus scoring 67 goals
Up to Round 30, Week 30 most scored against: Sassuolo conceding 59 goals
Up to Round 30, Week 30 best defense: AS Roma conceding only 15 goals
Top scorer up to Round 30: Juventus forward Ciro Immobile with 18 goals
