It’s a good day for Italian football! Yep! Italy getting back on track to keep up the race for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Italy defeated Israel with the goal by forward Ciro Immobile. Here are the declarations of Italy Head Coach Gian Piero Ventura after the game.

Mission accomplished.  Italy defeated Israel to keep up the race for the World Cup Qualification.  Italy are in the 2nd position with 19 points after losing the match against Spain on Matchday 7.  Israel are in the 4th position with 9 points.

• Stats:   Italy won 3-1 in Haifa in September 2016

Italy opening the score in the 53rd minute.  It is forward Ciro Immobile to defeat Israel goalkeeper Ariel Harush with a  headed shot in the top left corner.   The assist  is by Antonio Candreva with a cross following a corner conceded by Israel defender Ofir Davidzada.
