England defeating Colombia on penalty shootouts winning the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 game on Tuesday 3 July, 2018 at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow, Russia.  This is a memorable victory for England qualifying for the Quarterfinals while sending Colombia home after a tough battle.  England will play against Sweden and the winner will go to the Semifinals.

England opening the score in the 57th minute. Captain Harry Kane converting a penalty defeating Colombia goalkeeper David Ospina with a right footed shot in the center. The penalty is conceded by Carlos Sánchez after a foul on Kane inside the penalty area.

Colombia equalizing in the agonizing 93rd minute. Yerry Mina scoring with a headed shot for the 1-1 defeating England goalkeeper sending the ball to the top left corner. The assist is by Juventus midfielder Juan Cuadrado with a cross following a corner conceded by Jordan Pickford.

Sweden winning the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 game on Tuesday 3 July, 2018 at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in Saint Petersburg, Russia.  Sweden defeating Switzerland and reach the Quarterfinals since the last time in 1994.

Sweden opening the score in the 66th minute. Emil Forsberg’s deflected shot gave Switzerland the lead and it was the only goal of the match. A painful defeat for Switzerland remaining with 10 players since the 94th minute when Michael Lang got a red card.
