🏆🇮🇹👉 The 2026–27 Coppa Italia, known as the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa due to sponsorship, will mark the 80th edition of this national domestic tournament. A total of 44 teams will be participating.

Here’s how the tournament is structured:
First phase (single-elimination matches)
Preliminary round: the tournament kicks off with four teams from Serie C and four from Serie B.
👉 First round: the four winners from the preliminary round are joined by the remaining 16 Serie B teams and 12 Serie A teams.
👉 Second round: the 16 winners compete against each other.
Second phase
👉 Round of 16 (single-elimination): the eight winners from the previous round are joined by Serie A clubs, seeded 1–8 (including last year’s champions Inter Milan and the top 7 teams from the 2025–26 Serie A).
👉 Quarter-finals (single-elimination): the eight winners face off.
👉 Semi-finals (two-legged): the four winners compete against each other.
👉 Final (single-elimination): the two winners will go head-to-head.
