Update on Francesco Totti injury, 27 September 2015

 

Francesco Totti underwent a medical exam today, which confirmed an injury to his right thigh.

The Giallorossi captain was forced off the pitch in the second half of Roma v Carpi and will undergo more tests in ten days to see how long he’s expected to be out.

Here’s what the Giallorossi medical team had to say on the injury:

“After hyperextending his thigh in yesterday’s match, our tests on Francesco Totti showed up exudate around the injured ischiocrural muscle in his right thigh. The exact extent of the injury will be confirmed in ten days, following regulation examinations.”
