Roma have touched down in Lisbon after a three-hour chartered flight from Fiumicino airport ahead of tonight’s friendly against Sporting Clube de Portugal.

The Giallorossi will take on the Portuguese outfit at the Estadio José Alvalade at 19:45 local time in what will be the team’s first European friendly of pre-season. Francesco Totti and Co. will then head straight back to Italy tomorrow morning, with a training session in Trigoria scheduled for 15:00 CEST

Of course, tonight’s friendly is not the only one Rudi Garcia’s men will contest in the Iberian peninsula before the start of the 2014-15 season: Roma will be walking out at the Camp Nou to take on Barcelona in the Trofeo Gamper on August 5, before heading south to face Valencia in the Trofeo Naranja at the Mestalla on August 8.

There will be more Spanish opposition for the Giallorossi on Opening Day at the Stadio Olimpico, with Sevilla making their way to the Eternal City on August 14 (kick-off at 20:00 CEST).

All of these matches will be broadcast live and exclusively on Roma TV, which can be enjoyed by subscribers to Sky’s Football and Sport packages from today.
