Build-up to Serie A opener begins on Monday 17 August 2015

AS Roma enjoyed a long pre-season, which began in Pinzolo in July, continued with trips to Australia and Indonesia and culminated in friendlies in Europe and Friday’s Opening Day at the Olimpico. Tomorrow, Rudi Garcia’s men begin the week leading up to their Serie A opening fixture, away at Hellas Verona.
The Giallorossi worked on Saturday morning with an in-house friendly against the Primavera and will return to training on Monday. The squad will train twice, with the first session beginning at 9:30, before a further workout in the afternoon.
Totti et al will then have a further four days of practice ahead of them. Garcia will decide the training program tomorrow after his players return from a Sunday off. The squad will practice for the final time at Trigoria on Friday morning, before flying north in the afternoon.

Verona’s Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi will play host to the opening match of Serie A 2015-16, which sees the Giallorossi meet Hellas Verona (kick-off 18:00 CET, noon Eastern).
