👉🏆   Fiorentina won with a poker the UEFA Conference League Play-offs First Leg game against SC Braga on Thursday 16 February 2023 at the Estádio Municipal de Braga in Braga, Portugal. Fiorentina humiliated Braga and the qualification for the round of 16 is closer. Leading strikers, braces for Jovic and Cabral. Braga played with ten men from the 55th minute after Tormena was sent off.

Fiorentina claimed the prestigious away victory with this 4-0 that leaves no room for doubt and also leaves little hope for Braga, literally annihilated by the Viola throughout the entire match. After a first half in which Fiorentina had deserved the lead which arrived in the 46th minute with Luka Jovic’s goal following an excellent cross from Biraghi, the second half of the match against Sporting Braga started immediately with a very bad foul by Tormena on Jovic, first booked by Del Cerro Grande and then expelled by the referee after a VAR review. Fiorentina with the numerical advantage immediately got back in possession of the game and after just 5′ they also found the goal to double. This time it’s Riccardo Saponara who works well a ball on the right and then serves the usual Jovic with a very delicate through ball, in the evening of grace, and author of a splendid brace.

All the schemes in Braga’s house collapsed and Fiorentina took advantage of it with the substitute Cabral, who took Jovic’s place and in less than 5′ puts his personal seal on the Municipal match. Spectacular action in the center of the penalty area by the Brazilian who jumps a man with a delicious dribble before kicking very hard behind Matheus for the deserved 3-0. Arthur Cabral also decides to impose himself and to even the score with his teammates and in the 90th minute, after an excellent action by Ikoné in the penalty area, he receives the assist to back up the 4-0 which could have virtually closed the scores.

In a week’s time, the return match between Fiorentina and Sporting Braga will be played at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence.
