Fiorentina honorary president Andrea Della Valle has made the following statement with regard to the position of head coach Vincenzo Montella:

“The club is waiting to be informed of exactly where our head coach Vincenzo Montella stands, in accordance with what was agreed and the transparency shown thus far. Given the respect that we all owe to the club and our fans, it is imperative we resolve the situation without further delay.”
