After being substituted in Sunday’s Serie A clash against AC Milan with an abductor muscle problem, Matias Fernandez underwent medical tests which revealed that he suffered a lesion to the large abductor of his left thigh. Fernandez has already started treatment for the injury. This will continue until he undergoes subsequent tests, scheduled for ten days’ time.
