Fiorentina losing their debut game in the International Champions Cup in USA against Paris Saint Germain on Tuesday 21 July 2015 at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. Paris Saint Germain getting their second victory. It was the first international challenge for new Fiorentina Coach Paulo Sousa and failing the test. PSG winning the second game in this tournament.

A total emotional game for Rossi delighting his fans and playing in the united States for the first time since he left at 12 years old to join Parma. . Sadly, the defeat just ruined the party. Rossi starting as a sub and playing the last minutes after replacing Vecino in the 65th minute. The fans welcome “the New Jersey boy” back home with a standing ovation while making his entrance to the pitch. Fans rejoicing when Rossi converted the penalty in the 78th minute being this the first goal since the last time he scored in August 2014.

Surely, this is just a friendly test for new Fiorentina Coach to prepare ahead of the 2015 – 2016 Serie A season.
The ex Juventus, Inter, and AC Milan player forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic becoming the king of the match scoring a goal while keeping alive the possible return to Milan. Fans in the stadium wearing Ibrahimovic mask, showing big banners with his face.
A test for Fiorentina facing for the first time Paris Saint Germain in a competitive match. Coach Sousa will have enough time to fix errors and have the squad ready for the Serie A kickoff.
