MILAN – Giovanissimi Nazionali coach Omar Danesi has led his side through to the last-16 of the Scudetto Finals, where they will meet Fiorentina. His side overcame Latina in the previous round. The rossoneri youth team coach spoke to calcionazionale.it about the win. Here are his comments: “We were a bit apprehensive at Latina, slightly tense after they broke the deadlock, but it’s normal at 15 years of age. But then we saw the real Milan, with our attacking ideas and we deserved to go through.”

Ahead of the next stage against Fiorentina, here were the coach’s comments: “It’s really great to be able to test ourselves with important sides and compete for something. Fiorentina-Milan could be the final! It’s over two legs, we will see the character, personality, lots of aspects. I have already told the players that it’s important that we play like we did in the second leg versus Latina.”
