MILAN – Villiam Vecchi, who starred in the 1973 Italian Cup final which Milan won after penalties over Juventus in Rome, spoke yesterday evening during Studio Milan on the Milan Channel:
“I understand how delicate the moment is and what these players are experiencing now. For this reason they must be confident that they have the chance to come back and change their future in one night. And this is a great opportunity. Everything is possible in a one-off game. The Italian Cup final triumph on July 1st 1973 was for us the reward after the Fatal Verona defeat one month and a half before. And that’s why we had much more motivation than our opponents.”
