🏆 👉 Mission accomplished. AC Milan won the Champions League Round of 16 defeating Tottenham on Tuesday 14 February 2023 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy at 21:00. AC Milan are back in the knockout phase of the Champions League for the first time since 2013/14. Milan secured a precious victory in the first leg thanks to the goal scored by Brahim Diaz at the start of the game. The Rossoneri defended in order and even came close to doubling with De Ketelaere and Thiaw in the second half.
The second leg between Milan and Tottenham will be played on 8 March at the New White Hart Lane.
AC Milan opened the score in the 7th minute. Brahim Díaz defeated Tottenham goalkeeper Fraser Forster from very close range with a headed shot to the center.
