🏆🇮🇹 👉   Inter won the Supercoppa Italiana – Italian Super Cup game crushing AC Milan on Wednesday 18 January 2023 at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Undoubtedly, Inter legitimized the excellent performance in the first half by sealing the result in the second half thanks to Lautaro Martínez’s goal. Lautaro is the first player to score in back-to-back editions of the competition since Argentinean Carlos Tevez (2013 + 2014). This is the 7th victory in the history of the event for Inter and the 4th success as a coach in the Super Cup for Simone Inzaghi. The Inter coach is equaling Coach Marcello Lippi and Coach Fabio Capello at the top of the rankings of those with the most titles in the competition.

Previously, there was only one precedent between Milan and Inter in the Italian Super Cup: the match dates back to 6 August 2011: on that occasion, the Rossoneri won 2-1 under the guidance of Massimiliano Allegri, thanks to goals from Ibrahimovic and Boateng which overturned the lead by Sneijder.
