MILAN – This weekend, and in occasion of round 37 of the league season, Serie A TIM will be backing Oxfam Italia’s campaign to raise funds in the fight against world hunger. The Italian Football Association and the Italian Referees’ Association have also pledged their support.

Serie A is therefore calling on football fans to donate via a SMS at 45509 and support over 40.000 people, most of whom are women, through cooperation projects to increase food production, access to key resources, credit as well as strengthen trading abilities and skills in local goods produced in Ethiopia, Sudan, Haiti, Tanzania, Tunisia, Morocco and Lebanon.

Top-flight stars Andrea Barzagli, Alessandro Florenzi and Alessandro Matri are just a few of the names from the sporting world to back the campaign. CLICK HERE for more information.
