MILAN – The Sassuolo defender Francesco Acerbi presented his book ‘Tutto Bene’ (Everything’s Ok) yesterday in Milan, which talks about how he defeated cancer on two occasions. Sassuolo are the rossoneri’s next opponents in the league. Acerbi said: “The illnesss changed my life. Now I pay a lot more attention to not just m,y life style but also to the smaller things. At the start I felt defeated, I was no longer setting myself any objectives or goals and I didn’t want to fight but then with time I started to fight first against the cancer then also to win back my place on the football field. I would go back to Milan because I had reached a goal but then I sat back and I didn’t play my best hand.”
