MILAN – At Milan Malpensa Airport, and before boarding the flight to China, Riccardo Montolivo spoke to gathered journalists. These were the skipper’s thoughts on the upcoming season and coach Mihajlovic:

“We’re hoping for a very competitive Milan side for the upcoming season, the squad is training well and responding well to the training. The visit from the President has given us a lot of motivation and enthusiasm, we know him, and he always gives us great strength. Mihajlovic is an honest person; I think it is the most important aspect in a relationship between a coach and players. We will get to know each other better, but he is certainly a top level coach. To think about a Milan side that can already challenge for the Scudetto is difficult. I don’t think it is the time to make sweeping statements, but instead let our results do the talking. We need less talk and lots of work.”
