MILANELLO – After a day-off on Sunday, the players held a training session on Monday at 16.00 at Milanello and started to set their sights on the final Serie A match of the season with Roma. CLICK HERE for our match-preview of Saturday’s clash.

The Rossoneri’s afternoon session got underway on the central pitch with a warm-up consisting of fitness drills and stretching. Following that, the squad was split into two groups. Those that started versus Bologna did running around the outside of the pitch and then headed indoors to work out in the gym.

The rest of the players meanwhile went through passing drills with the use of the metal mannequins. Training continued with possession drills and came to a close with a practice match on a reduced size pitch with goalkeepers.

Individuals: Abate, Bonaventura and Niang started the session with the rest of the squad. Abate then joined up with the starters from the Bologna game for running. Bonaventura and Niang took part in the passing drills with the other members of the squad. Balotelli and Menez trained with the group while Bacca worked on an individual training programme in the gym.

On Tuesday, the team will hold a training session at 11.00.
