AC Milan making the official announcement on renewing for one more year the contract with forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic until 30 June 2021 on Saturday 29 August 2020. Ibrahimovic arriving in Milan at the Linate Airport. The announcement puts and end to the ongoing saga about Ibahimovic whether leaving or staying. The good news is that Ibrahimovic, 38-year-old, is the added boost to keep rebuilding AC Milan to their historical grandiosity.

AC Milan posted the video showing Ibrahimovic’s arrival in Linate. Ibrahimovic, saying with a big smile, “I am very happy to be back here. Finally, everything is ok and I am finally back where I feel at home, now we have to work and bring more results.”
Ibrahimovic was asked his opinion on how he felt knowing that not only the Coach, teammates, and millions of fans worldwide were waiting for him. Ibra, with a smile, said, “I need to work and like as I have always said, I am not here to be a mascot. I am here to bring results and help the team, the coach, and the Club to get Milan back where they need to be. In the last six months, we have done great things, but we have not won anything. There is the possibility of starting, working hard, making sacrifices to reach the objectives.
Good news is that Ibahimovic reassured that he feels fine and in shape.
Ibrahimovic sent the message to the fans, “Greetings and I hope the fans can return to the stadium soon. The team needs all the fans. Forza Milan, always.”

AC Milan ended the 2019-2020 Season in the 6th position with 66 points qualifying to play in the UEFA Europa League 2020-2021 Season.
