Major tournament for charity has started.

MILAN – The new edition of Beach volleyball tournament dedicated to the projects supported by the Milan Foundation has started. The funds raised will go to the “Sport and Social Inclusion” programme which aims to tackle youth problems through the promotion of sport. Specifically, the initiative will support the School Workshop project, a programme built on the principle of alternation between school and work, an effective tool in responding to the “risk dispersion” for young people who need good proposals and points of reference, to resume with confidence their training.

The first date was on Wednesday 20 May, at the PalaUno pitches in Milan. Many friends of Milan Foundation have decided to participate, such as the Rossoneri glories Paolo Maldini, Massimo Ambrosini, Serginho, Angelo Carbone and the coach of Milan youth team Cristian Brocchi.

Among the professional athletes of the Italian volleyball there will be Veronica Angeloni, Maren Brinker, Francesca Ferretti, Rachele Sangiuliano, Giorgia Baldelli, Alessia Ghilardi, Carolina Zardo, Chiara Ferretti, Chaira Brigati, Seda Arapi, Giulia Decordi, Jenny Arinoldi, Valentina Guccione and Debora Allegretti .

Special guests are DJ Ringo and former basketball players Claudio Coldebella and Hugo Sconocchini and Gek Galanda.

For the occasion, Montante Italian Style will donate a bike that will be given to the best player of the tournament.

The partner teams participating are: Caldirola, Giorgio Tesi Vivai, Infront, Nivea, RE-HASH, Sartoria Luca Paolo Rossi, Nutrilite.
