MILANELLO – The Milan captain, Riccardo Montolivo, also spoke exclusively to Milann Channel about the difficult moment the team are going through. He said: “We realise that things are not going well and we are here at Milanello since Sunday to try and resolve the problems we have and try to come out of this difficult moment. I’m sorry to read that the players were not in agreement with the coach because we took this decision together and it is disappointing to see that someone wants to come between us and the coach because we have a lot a lot of respect for him. We are all united and none of us are happy. The fault lies with us players, we play every week and we have to do more. But the changing room is not split in two, that is absolutely untrue.”

Montolivo also spoke of his comeback from yet another injury in what has been a troubled season.

“I am happy to have trained in part with the squad three days ago, I am conducting a personalised program and we will see over the next few days when I will be fully available. At the moment there isn’t much to say, the only thing we should do is perform well tomorrow.”
