MILAN – The Azzurrini’s European adventure in Bulgaria has come to an end at the quarter final stage.

The Italy U-17s qualified for the knock-out stages after finishing as runners-up in their group behind England, but were unable to progress beyond the quarter finals after a 3-0 loss to France on Saturday.

5 Milan youth sector players started the match for Italy yesterday and they were: Donnarumma, Llamas, El Hilali, Cutrone and Locatelli.

Now the Azzurrini will be looking to bounce back in their World Cup play-off with Croatia which is on the 19th of May and will also be played in Bulgaria.
