ITALY TEAM: EL SHAARAWY ON THE SCORE-SHEET IN PRACTICE MATCH

MILAN – After being given the morning off to recover by head coach Antonio Conte, the Italian national team trained again in very hot conditions this afternoon at Coverciano. The Azzurri took part in a practice match between ranks, 30 minutes per half, and it ended 4-3 for the team in yellow thanks to goals from Milan’s El Shaarawy, Candreva, De Rossi and Ranocchia. Rossettini and Vazquez (2) were on the score-sheet for the blue team.

Individuals: Marchetti, Florenzi, Zaza and Soriano rested while Gabbiadini played the second half of the practice match.

Today’s practice match brings to an end the training camp and this Saturday Conte will name his squad for Italy’s EURO 2016 qualifier with Croatia scheduled for the 12th of June in Split.
