AC MILAN: HIGHS AND LOWS IN SPORT – GALLIANI

MILAN – Joint-CEO Adriano Galliani said the following in response to questions raised earlier today at the shareholders’ meeting at Casa Milan: “The club has a long-term strategic plan with regards to Financial Fair Play. The Casa Milan project is part of a strategy to diversify revenue streams. Casa Milan has received 600 thousand visitors and brought in 6.4 million euros in revenue so far and this is considered to be a more than positive outcome. An owned stadium remains one of the strategic objectives. We cannot make comparisons between clubs floated on the stock exchange. Agent fees are in line with the other top clubs. As for the number of coaches, they take into account all sorts of roles so from physiotherapists to youth staff. The costs relating to San Siro include the redevelopment of the stadium that will allow us to host the Champions League final. In sport there are positive and negative cycles. The board of directors are doing everything to overturn the trend.”
