It was an important weekend for the youth sector.
PRIMAVERA
After a full week of training, the rossoneri youngsters took on Monaco in a friendly on Saturday the 30th of May at the Vismara. The fixture kicked-off at 16.00 and ended 4-0 in favour of the French side.
Following that, the players were given some time off before meeting up again on the 1st of June to begin preparations for the Scudetto finals. A reminder that this year’s Final-8 takes place in Liguria and it begins on the 9th of June. Here is the draw below and Milan take on Torino on the 10th of June:

The Allievi Nazionali are also preparing for the Scudetto finals and on Saturday the 30th of May they faced Pro Vercelli in a friendly to arrive in peak condition.
The Final-8 takes place in Chianciano Terme (Siena) from the 11th through to the 21st of June. Milan qualified for the finals after finishing first in their group. Here are the groups for the Final-8:
GROUP A: Roma, Fiorentina, Inter, Palermo.
GROUP B: Milan, Torino, Empoli, Genoa.
GIOVANISSIMI NAZIONALI
The first leg of the last-16 Scudetto play-off between the Milan Giovanissimi Nazionali and Fiorentina ended 3-0 in favour of the rossoneri. Kyeremateng netted a brace while Bianchi scored the other for the Milan youth team. Thanks to their excellent attacking display, coach Danesi’s side have laid the foundations to go through to the Final-8 ahead of the second leg which is scheduled next week on the 7th of June in Florence.
Should Milan overcome Fiorentina, they will book their place in the Final-8 which is set for the 20th through to the 28th of June in Chianciano Terme.
ALLIEVI LEGA PRO ’99
The Milan Allievi were in Madrid from Thursday the 28th through to Sunday the 31st of May for the International Tournament of Alcobendas. It was the second edition of the tournament, won last year by Atletico Madrid, and is in memory of Luis Aragones and organized by Rayo Ciudad Alcobendas CF. Milan made the trip on the back of an excellent third place finish at the Geneva International Tournament. 8 teams were present: Atletico Madrid, Milan, Juventus, Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, Getafe, Polish Soccer Skills and Alcobendas. Results: Alcobendas-Milan 2-1, Getafe-Milan 3-2, Juventus-Milan 1-1.
GIOVANISSIMI REGIONALI 2001
Meanwhile, the Giovanissimi Regionali 2001 were at UNICEF Solidarity tournament in Lodi from May 29th-31st. 12 teams confirmed their attendance: Real Madrid, Valencia, Manchester United, Milan, Juventus, Napoli, Inter, Torino, Genoa, Brescia, Pavia and a Lodi representative side. All funds raised will be going to UNICEF and victims of the earthquake in Nepal. Milan finished 5th.
