France triumphed over Azerbaijan with a 3-0 victory in the World Cup qualifying match held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Parc des Princes Stadium in Paris.  The French team maintains their perfect record at the top of Group D, moving closer to qualification.

France, now have nine points, while Ukraine follows with four points after their 5-3 victory against Iceland. Iceland and Azerbaijan are left with three points and one point, respectively.

Kylian Mbappé kept his impressive scoring run alive by netting a goal in the 45+2 minute mark. This marks his 17th goal in 13 appearances for both club and country this season, bringing his total to 53 for the national team.

AC Milan’s Adrien Rabiot extended France’s lead with a header in the 69th minute, and Florian Thauvin capped off the scoring with a goal in the 84th minute.
