In the 41st minute Saudi Arabia failed to level the score because a penalty was saved. Fahad Al Muwallad failed to convert because Egypt goalkeeper saved the right footed shot in the top left corner. The penalty is conceded by Ahmed Fathy after a handball in the penalty area.

Redemption for Saudi Arabia equalizing for the 1 – 1 in the 45th minute. It is Salman Al Faraj converting the penalty with a left footed shot in the bottom left corner. The penalty is conceded by Egypt Ali Gabr after a foul inside the penalty box against Fahad Al Muwallad.
