Over 100 children were present and cheered on by a group of parents with the day’s events kicking-off with an opening ceremony in which Milan Academy coach Otello Di Remigio took the opportunity to talk about the importance of some of the key values of the tournament. These include fair-play, correct conduct on and off the pitch and of the primary objective of the Milan Soccer School which is to promote a sporting culture. Following that, football and fun took centre stage while after the matches, there was a host of post-tournament activities with refreshments and a chance to socialise and have more fun away from the pitch.
