Germany vs. Italy friendly: Bonaventura leaves training camp. ‘Made in Italy on the field’ tonight in Munich

Italy held a training session in Coverciano this morning as part of their preparation for the high-profile friendly against World Champions, Germany, which is due to take place at Munich’s Allianz Arena tomorrow night (20:45 CEST). The Azzurri will travel to Germany this afternoon (landing at 17:50 CEST), a press conference with manager Antonio Conte and defender Leonardo Bonucci is scheduled for 18:45 CEST at the Allianz Arena.

Giacomo Bonaventura has already left Coverciano and he is returning to his club. The AC Milan midfielder has been suffering from the flu during the last days.

Made in Italy resumes its journey along with the Azzurri tonight in Munich. FIGC and the Ministry for the Economic Development have organised another important promoting activity for Italian companies with the cooperation of ICE (Institution for Commerce Abroad). The programme ‘Made in Italy on the Field’, which made its debut last October in Azerbaijan and travelled along with the national team for other away matches, will this time encompass a meeting between representatives of Institutions, companies, opinion leaders and stakeholders from Germany and Italy.

Former Italy head coach Giovanni Trapattoni, a true icon of Italian football as both player and manager, will be an honorary guest of the event. The four World Cup trophies won by Italy in 1934, 1938, 1982 and 2006 will also be on display tonight. All this shows how football, one of Italy’s best products, can turn into a means for opening a dialogue with economical operators from foreign countries.

Tomorrow a masterclass in Italian design is scheduled for 13:00 CEST at the Gaszahlerwerkstatt; this class will see the participation of important Italian and German architects to promote the XXI Triennale and the Salone del Mobile in Milan. A wine tasting will then be hosted by the Unione Italiana Vini. Finally, the website INVESTINITALY.COM will be advertised on the hoardings around the sidelines during the game between the two sides.
