“FEEL AT HOME”

MILAN – Carlos Bacca is already starting to feel at home at Milan. According to the Colombian forward, credit for that goes to places like the club’s state of the art HQ Casa Milan and training centre Milanello. In an interview with the Italian daily Corriere dello Sport-Stadio, Bacca elaborated:"It seems like I have already been here for a long time and that for me is the nicest feeling. Credit for that is down to places like Casa Milan and Milanello. The difference between Milan and Sevilla is very simple: my former club was big while my current one is the top, among the very best. Just think, here you can spend a whole day at the training centre [Milanello] working and relaxing."A word on his new coach and comparisons with his former boss: "Like Emery, Mihajlovic is obsessed with the finer details, he prepares each match very well. Initially he seems very serious, but then all of a sudden he becomes cheerful. Even if it might not last very long… however he is certainly very focused."Leaving Sevilla took away the chance to play in Europe’s biggest competition, but Bacca is happy with his decision: "It’s true, I turned down the chance to play in the Champions League, but only for a year in my opinion. I made this decision for a great chance to win the Scudetto with Milan and regain the Champions League here. Ronaldo? I’ve always been fascinated by him, but unfortunately he was unlucky and his career came to an end too soon. I am perhaps similar to him for my coolness out on the pitch. With a great piece of skill, he got away and found the back of the net, you didn’t expect it. He was clinical, powerful, a great finisher."Closing comments from the Milan forward: "I want to find my feet in the Italian game as quick as possible and the objective is to win as a team ahead of any individual objective."
