MILAN – The club pays tribute today to Moto GP rider Marco Simoncelli, who tragically died during a race on this day in 2011. Milan were on the way to Lecce that day for a league match when the news broke. The rossoneri clearly weren’t themselves afterwards and all their thoughts were with him that day.Today and 3 years after that tragedy, his beaming smile is still fresh in our minds and his memory still lives on.
