Octavio Manteca today underwent an arthroscopy procedure on his lateral meniscus, as a consequence of the persistent and painful symptoms that have been limiting his ability to engage in sporting activity. The operation was carried out in Florence by Dr Francesco Giron and Dr Federico Fofi. Octavio will have a week’s rest before embarking on a five-week rehabilitation process. Alberto Aquilani saw Dr Müller Wolfart with his Achilles tendonitis. He is expected to be out for around another week while he rests.
